Description of Drill Team Quality Representative Field Drill Team:
-Assist in monitoring and carrying out quality assurance & control activities for the US Drill Team’s contractors and sub-contractors.
Job Responsibilities:
• Coordinates and manages third party Inspection (TPI/EMR) agencies to perform quality surveillance, inspection, and testing during readiness of service, ad hoc equipment fabrication, rig upgrades as well as commissioning and repair.
• Initiate requests for equipment failure investigations / root cause analysis (RCA) from Contractors and solicits response for corrective /preventive Actions, including actions for implementation of lessons learned.
• Verify’s that effective equipment Preventive Maintenance, Inspection and Test Programs (PMITP) and Inventory maintenance inspections (including critical spares) are in place for critical suppliers.
• Oversee pre-job service tool and equipment preparations/inspections to include disassembly, inspection, repair, reassembly, pressure testing, and function testing of service tools and equipment, and ensures proper procedures are followed (e.g. quality plans).
• Interface with rig surveyors to ensure all expectations are satisfied with respect to quality, integrity and rig readiness.
Skills required for Drill Team Quality Representative Field Drill Team
• Knowledge and experience with drilling equipment required
• Experience in QA/QC methods and systems required
• B. S. Engineering and minimum 10 years in Quality Assurance Role
• Language Skills: English
• Job Skills: Business writing, computer literate Microsoft Office, Email (Lotus Notes)
