Gas Job vacancies: Senior Expeditor/Expeditor /(Base Laem Chabang)
(Chon Buri – Laem Chabang)
Job Responsibilities:
* Accept PO assignments & establish on-going contact with suppliers to obtain progress reports on documentation, materials and equipment.
* Expedite initial submission of documents and review them to formulate an expediting plan, when necessary.
* Monitor progress of assigned Purchase Orders and update the expediting working document in order to ensure that is accurate, up to date and in a timely manner.
* Monitor and report on all Warehouse receiving records.
* Provide leadership, motivation and guidance to develop confidence and competency in junior group members.
* Liaise with material coordinators, project management, engineering, QC etc. to agree & initiate recovery plans when slippages are discovered or anticipated.
* Act to resolve all OS&D & PRNCA reports in place to minimize number of active reports, when assigned.
Job Requirements:
* Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in any field, preferably engineering discipline.
* Minimum 5 years experience in expediting of engineering equipment, preferably oil & gas/petrochemical business.
* Understanding of oil & gas fabrication practices e.g. platform or pipeline construction is essential.
* Possess fundamental knowledge of project management practices.
* Good command of English.
* Good analytical & problem solving skills.
* Self motivation; able to work under pressure without supervision.
* Ability to guide and motivate junior team members.
* Good communication skills
* Able to permanently work at Laem Chabang – Chonburi
