One of the world’s leading industrial gases and engineering groups with a large share of the market in Thailand has an opening for a keen and ambitious Project Manager. The company produces and distributes compressed gases, bulk and liquefied gases, manufactured on-site gases, equipment and consumable items.
Reporting to the Head of Project Engineering SEA/India, the Project Manager will:
* Define and/or contribute to technical aspects of projects throughout South East Asia including India (design, construction concept and procurement, plant performance) before sending for Board’s approval
* Review and determine investment budgets (CAPEX) prior to the investment decision
* Execute investment projects in corresponding with project requirements (technical-wise and business-wise) including safety and other related standards
* Provide technical support to the business development operations
* Monitor project progress, prepare summary reports, recommend counter-measures for responsible personnel and the senior management
Job Requirements:
* Thai national, age over 35 years
* Degree in an Engineering field from a recognized university
* Minimum 10 years experience in project operations and management of chemical or gas plants
* Keen on implementing safety standard and other related engineering/ technical standards
* Knowledge of business requirements and commercial contracts within South East Asia
* Good organization, communication, interpersonal, and people management skills
* Good command of both spoken and written English
