oil and gas career: Project Engineer

Job Responsibilities:
Our Client is a global manufacturing and technology company providing process management solutions to a wide range of sectors including the Oil and Gas, Petrochemical and Pharmaceutical industries. Currently they are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to be a part of their expanding dynamic team in Singapore.
As Project Engineer, your main responsibility is to plan, design, implement and manage projects, and ensuring customers’ specifications, project schedules, financial goals and quality standards are met. You will organize the purchase of equipment, material and services in a timely and cost-effective manner based on the contractual schedule and project specifications. Liaising with subcontractors, you will manage their schedules, quality, and releasing of payment based on completion of their work. With an eye for details, you will identify and resolve changes across the project. Your good communication skills are called upon in negotiation of change order with customers and suppliers.
Job Requirements:
To be successful for this role, you need to have a Degree in Engineering with at least 5 years of experience in the process control systems and project management. Strong engineering industry knowledge and customer focus are key success factors for this position.
