oil and gas career: Senior Civil and Structural Engineer
(Saudi)
Job Responsibilities:
* Able to perform project management, Quality Surveryor and technical review.
* Reviews /implements project/job specification.
* Designs and updates Civil/Structural layouts, sections, details, etc.
* Drafts engineering documents for government submission and for construction.
* Prepares and updates material take-off for project procurement and bid proposals.
* Assists in preparing cost estimate for tender proposal.
* Coordinates and cooperate with other disciplines on new process requirements, design interference check and design changes.
* Adheres to ISO quality requirements in the execution of works.
* Instructs, supervises, manages and monitors the Draftman/Cad Operators in the course of work.
* Provides technical assistance to construction team.
* Attends site check/verification.
* Adheres to drawing checking procedure.
* Performs Civil/Structural calculations on minor steel and RC works.
Job Requirements:
* Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
* Minimum 5 years relevant working experience on Civil/Structural drafting and design of plants and systems for EPC lumpsum turnkey projects in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical or Pharmaceutical Industries.
* Well-versed in all local and international codes and standards on the related field.
* Computer literate and good hand-on experience on applications such as Auto-cad drafting, STAAD III analysis software, Micosoft Office, STRUCAD or XSTEEL detailing software, etc.
* Applicants should be Singaporean citizens or hold relevant residence status.
