Job Responsibilities:

* Plan, co-ordinate and manage the design, procurement, construction and commissioning of assigned projects, including taking a leadership role in the preparation of proposals.
* Provide overall project schedule, budget, leadership management and expertise to meet the project objectives.
* Participate in gathering and recording lesson learned for the project.
* Respond to ad hoc request from client related to controls and reporting.
* Assist the site management in developing/reviewing cost and schedule corrective actions and recovery plans and make sure needed actions/plans are implemented.
* Select and manage ongoing relationships with external contractors so that the organisation receives satisfactory standards of service.
* Select, guide and develop a team of project member with operational responsibilities to ensure that the organisation achieves it business objectives and complies with all relevant rules and regulations.
* Prepares and updates material take-off for project procurement and bid proposals.
* Adheres to ISO quality requirements in the execution of works.
* Provides technical assistance to construction team.
* Attends site check/verification.

Job Requirements:

* Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
* Minimum 6 years relevant working experience in project management in the Oil & Gas Industries.
* Well-versed in all local and international codes and standards on the related field.

As Project Engineer, your main responsibility is to plan, design, implement and manage projects, and ensuring customers’ specifications, project schedules, financial goals and quality standards are met. You will organize the purchase of equipment, material and services in a timely and cost-effective manner based on the contractual schedule and project specifications. Liaising with subcontractors, you will manage their schedules, quality, and releasing of payment based on completion of their work. With an eye for details, you will identify and resolve changes across the project. Your good communication skills are called upon in negotiation of change order with customers and suppliers.

Job Requirements:

To be successful for this role, you need to have a Degree in Engineering with at least 5 years of experience in the process control systems and project management. Strong engineering industry knowledge and customer focus are key success factors for this position.
