oil and gas career: HSSE Superintendent

Job Responsibilities:
* To coordinate the implementation of the Bumi Armada, HSSE Management Systems in accordance with the Company Policy and the Business Plan.
* To provide effective specialist HSSE advice and assistance to line management and supervision.
* To provide a monitoring and audit function which ensures the effective implementation of HSSE standards and procedures.
* As HSSE Representative, free to act within the authorities granted by the Operations Manager.
* Preparing, designing and supervising offshore a HSSE programs for Development, Drilling, production and other company operations.
* Ensure that all activities comply with all company and government requirements and regulations.
Job Requirements:
* Candidate must possess Certificate of Competency Marine Master Class 1.
* Registered Safety & Health Officer with the Department of Occupational Safety & Health.
* Master Mariner and experienced in marine operations.
* 10 years sea going experience.
* Sound knowledge and understanding of HSSE management systems.
* Knowledge of HSSE requirements for offshore works and offshore safety requirements for Oil & Gas industry.
* Good interpersonal and communication skills with positive attitude.
* Effective leadership qualities with strong organizational abilities.
